An exploration of a beachside community in the East Cape of New Zealand. I was fascinated by the wide open spaces and the examples of human existence left within; abandoned buildings and cars, worn sofas and forgotten personal belongs.

A work in progress project using photography, mixed media, double exposure, glass prisms and any other technique that I find intriguing. An opportunity to experiment, to change the way I view things that I see every day.

My work begins and ends with digital, but sometimes I enjoy experimenting with analogue processes in the middle to create unusual results. Many analogue processes have become lost or obscured to us through technology advancements, or unsafe components, such as chemicals. I am interested in ways to revive them, filling in the blanks with modern technology to create new and surprising results.
